Many of us grow up believing that Anger is always bad. This is not true - anger has a purpose. As humans, we have evolved to feel anger for some good reasons:
Anger protects us, gives us courage, strength, and helps us fight off danger.
Anger can help us speak up when something is important and can be used to promote change for the better.
Anger can be a motivator for performances or competition.
Although there are some good reasons to feel angry, the emotion can also cause problems for us. When you feel like you can't control your behavior when you feel angry, and it's having an impact on your life, then it might be time to get help.
